Commemorating the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand the students of Presidium celebrated the National Sports Day. The National Sports Day is observed every year to spread awareness about the importance of sports and games in the life of an individual. A special Virtual assembly was conducted by our talented Presidians of Grades Nursery to 6. The determined faces of the students were visible as they mustered all their might to give their best. The students actively participated in different sports like Cricket, Chess, Basketball & many more to showcase their talent. The little Yoga Gurus also amazed us with their Asanas and different Yoga Forms. Through participation in sports and games, a student gained various skills, experience, and confidence that help develop their personality.

Onam is the most popular festival in Kerala and is celebrated with great pomp and show. The festivities of the Onam last for ten days in which old and young participate with equal enthusiasm. A special virtual assembly was conducted on the occasion of Onam celebration, wherein the students brought out the spirit of Onam through an array of cultural performances. The assembly began with a speech wherein the importance of Onam was explained and the students presented a classical folk dance on this celebratory occasion. Students made a special floral rangoli Pookkalam, which is decorated for ten days during the festival. The relevance of the festival was also highlighted through an audio-visual presentation. The event was successful in adding to the cultural understanding of the students about our diverse country.

"Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness which unites your body to your thoughts." The lungs are an essential organ to all mammals. Students of Grade 5, Presidium created a model of the lungs using materials like a transparent plastic bottle, a straw, an elastic band, scissors, and two balloons, etc. They explored the function of the lungs in our bodies. They experienced that as the knotted balloon was pulled, it created more space inside the bottle. The collaborative activity was presented in the Online Science module. This activity helped students strengthen their understanding of one of the vital organs of the human body.

"The way you can conquer me is through love and, there I am gladly Conquered." To celebrate and commemorate one of the most pious festivals Janmashtami, students of Presidium, celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna with full fervour and devotion. A special virtual assembly was conducted by young and talented Presidians of Grades Nursery to 6 performed in colourful attires and depicted various forms of Lord Krishna from Bal Leela to Raas Leela. The event entailed speeches & bhajans on the life of Kanhaji. The mesmerizing dance depicting the devotion to Krishna won the soul of the spectators. To portray Gita Saar, students also dressed up as Krishna & Arjuna, which commemorated the human incarnation of Lord Krishna. This conveyed the strong message of Victory of Good over Evil. The day reminded the students about Lord Krishna's consecration and obedience to his master. All in all, these captivating performances enlightened the audience about the importance of the festival.

Addition is one of the four basic arithmetic operators without which one cannot imagine any calculation. It is one of the first math skills that children learn in their formative years. Learning of mathematics should not be limited to imparting only theoretical and factual knowledge. Keeping this in mind, we, at Presidium, introduced single-digit addition through concrete objects like pebbles, sticks, beads, etc. The students were able to add the numbers by using the concept of forward counting. Students observed that adding one or more to the current number of objects, the value of the number changes. They established a one-to-one correspondence by moving, touching, or pointing to each object that they counted as they said the corresponding number words.

Raksha Bandhan is a festival celebrated in the Hindu religion to nurture the bond between siblings. The bond of love between siblings is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and her brother's life long vow to protect his sister. On this auspicious occasion, Presidium organized a Virtual Special Assembly. Students in their traditional attires celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great ardor. Students spoke quotes and recited self-composed poems for their siblings as a gesture to express their love and even sang heart touching melodious songs. This was followed by a captivating dance performance by students. Their colorful attires, innocent smiles, and zeal to perform for their sibling added one more chapter to the beautiful happy memories.
