"It mirrors life, they say. It's trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows, hopes and losses... are all reminiscent of what life takes us through. Sport builds and reveals the character of humans."
On August 29, India celebrates National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Dhyan Chand – who was an integral part of 1928, 1932, and 1936 Olympics Gold medal-winning squad. National Sports Day 2021 is even more special due to India's remarkable performance in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics. Presidians paid homage to our Hockey Legend Dhyan Chand and the Super Seven of our Olympics victory. Students poured appreciation and accolades on all our achievers who brought laurels to the country on such a huge platform. Their stories of perseverance, struggles, hard work, determination, and discipline motivated and inspired our young guns to give their best and never give up. Students also presented Yoga Asanas, which are the gift of India to the world, for better health and fitness. The students learned a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of upholding the sports spirit.
