Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab and Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav, celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Keeping with the school's secular ethos, the students of Presidium organized a special virtual assembly to celebrate Gurpurab, one of the most auspicious religious festivals in Sikhism. Marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the students prepared a medley of activities to commemorate and remember his teachings. The virtual assembly began with the Ardaas 'Ek Omkar' and speech. It was then followed by a poem invoking the teaching of Sikhism. Serenity floated in the air with the humming of holy hymns by the Panj Pyaras, and it paved the way for a very fruitful and productive day.
