Role-play is an activity when you either put yourself into somebody else's shoes, or when you stay in your shoes but put yourself into an imaginary situation! The joy of role-play is that students can become anyone they like for a short time! Students can transcend and think beyond the confines of the classroom setting. Roleplay is an important part of child development, as it builds confidence, creativity communication and problem-solving. Intending to bring out the hidden talent of our students while helping them build up experience and confidence, students of Presidium Kalyan Vihar of Grade 3, participated in a role-play activity based on the story ‘The Palace in the Dream.’ Roping in the principal of imaginative role-play, students brilliantly portrayed the characters like a narrator, king, courtier, Tenali Raman and many more. It was a real treat to watch our students enact these eminent personalities.
