In today’s world, a poster in itself speaks volumes. In its most basic form, though, a poster is a temporary promotion of an idea, product or an event put up in a public space for mass consumption. To bring out the creative expressions of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, an Inter Class Poster Making Competition was organized for students of Grades 4 and 5 at Presidium, Kalyan Vihar. The themes taken up for the Competition were Mobiles - Boon or Bane, Health Is Wealth, Road Safety, etc. The students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters on the given topics. The aim of this competition was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensitize them towards these burning and serious issues. It was overwhelming to see the level of creativity in the participants. The competition witnessed several strong ideas and messages to protect community, thereby fulfilling the objective of the competition.
