A special assembly on National Science Day was recently conducted in the school premises. The students of grades 1 to 5 enthusiastically entertained the audience with the famous inventions of well known scientists.  A poem incorporating ‘Gravity’ was also recited. The students got the chance to observe lots of interesting aspects of science applied in our day to day life. They were even amazed to see a variety of fun experiments. The celebration helped in promoting active involvement of students and teachers in science related activity. It encouraged students to ask questions and to get doubts cleared in different areas of science and promoted their effective participation. The objective was to enable students to know about the latest developments in the fields of science and technology and encourage scientific thinking.
