‘The study of mathematics, like the Nile, begins in minuteness but ends in magnificence’. Mathematics is a dynamic subject - it is constantly changing and can never be static. It challenges us to new horizons and forces us to look at new goals. For an enjoyable experience of mathematics, we must necessarily be able to relate the subject to the environment and focus on the development of thinking and reasoning skills. Keeping this in mind, Presidium Kalyan Vihar hosted a special display of numbers and various operations. Students showcased different shapes and their examples in real-life. The event also included a talk on various famous Indian Mathematicians like Aryabhatta, whose contribution to astronomy and the field of mathematics was a great influence on all.
